Sunday August 13, 2017. Originally we were going to go up Byng Inlet
several miles and spend the night at Wrights Marina because it had received
great reviews. But, since the offshore
seas were pretty calm, we decided to skip Byng Inlet and head straight for an
anchorage in the Bustards Islands Group.
These islands were about 40 miles to the north. There were two boats in the anchorage when we
arrived. By evening, six more boats had
arrived. We launched the dinghy – the
new davit system is working perfectly - and explored the anchorage. It was another calm and peaceful evening. We went out on the bow around 10 p.m. and
it was so dark that you could see the “band” of the Milky Way Galaxy. The sky was amazing with all the stars!
